This Privacy Notice explains how Vertheim OÜ (trading as VertiLabs) ("we," "us," or "our") handles your personal data when you use our SkyBuddy application ("Application") and related services ("Services"). The SkyBuddy app is a freemium service provided "AS IS," and this notice applies to both the app and its associated services, including when you download and use our app, or interact with us through sales, marketing, or events.
You provide information when you download, register (optional), and use the Application. This may include contact details and preferences. We may use this information to contact you with important updates, notices, and marketing promotions (only with your explicit consent).
The Application automatically collects data such as device type, unique device ID, IP address, operating system, browser type, and usage information.
The Application collects your device's approximate location. This data is used to provide location-based services, personalize content, analyze usage, and may be shared in anonymized, aggregated form with third-party services to improve the Application. We do not collect precise, real-time location data unless you enable the flight tracker feature, in which case we may collect precise location data with your explicit consent.
The Application collects barometric, gyroscopic, and other sensor data related to flight tracking. This data helps monitor and record flight metrics, such as altitude, speed, and orientation. This data is used to enhance your flight tracking experience and may be shared in anonymized, aggregated form with third-party services to improve the Application.
We may provide you with the option to register with us using your existing social media account details (e.g., Facebook, X, etc.). If you choose to register in this way, we will collect certain profile information from the social media provider.
We automatically collect device information (such as your mobile device ID, model, operating system, version information, device and application identification numbers, browser type and version, hardware model, and Internet service provider/mobile carrier) to help us maintain and optimize the Application.

Note: While Google Analytics for Firebase primarily collects anonymized and aggregated data, it can be linked to identifiable information when combined with services like Firebase Authentication, which handles user login data (e.g., email addresses). We ensure that data collection remains limited to what is necessary for providing and improving our services.

Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by law or legal process.
You can request access to or correction of your personal data by filling out the Access/Correction Request Form or contacting us at support@vertilabs.com. We will verify your identity and respond to your request within 30 days. If an extension is necessary, we will inform you and provide a reason for the delay.
If you wish to delete your personal data, please submit a request through the Account and Data Deletion Request Form or contact us at support@vertilabs.com. Data deletion requests will also be processed within 90 days of verification. Once your data has been deleted, it cannot be recovered.
You can stop all data collection by uninstalling the Application. Additionally, you may withdraw consent for data collection via the app settings.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no system is entirely secure.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider support@vertilabs.com so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
We may update this Privacy Notice periodically. Continued use of the Application constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
